IsoSurface
- With the IsoSurface feature, extract individual nuclei using an
intensity threshold. Control color and transparency of each object
selected with graphical editors.
OrthoSlicer
1 - image is shown with the red channel (blood vessel) as orthoslice
and the blue channel (astrocytes) as isosurface. Several orthoslices
can be created in either direction XY, XZ, YZ.
OrthoSlicer
2 - A human cornea and the lens visualized using a combination
of the IsoSurface and OrthoSlicer functions. The cornea (green)
and the cataracts (red) are shown as isosurfaces. The lens (gray)
is shown as an orthoslice.
OrthoSlicer
3 - The cornea is shown as an orthoslice (gray). The lens is
shown as an isosurface. Volume Rndering - The combination of volume
rendering (red channel, blood vessel) and surface rendering (blue
channel, astrocytes) is a very powerful method to display subtle
structures in the context of bright prominent elements.
External
Objects 1 - Add an external object to an existing 3D scene.
Users can add manually extracted and traced objects to analyze images
from the optical and the electron microscopes.
External
Objects 2 - Scale, translate, and rotate objects to match the
rest of the scene. ImarisSurpass exchanges data with SurfDiver,
a powerful tool to manually extract objects.
Measurement
- Select an object in the scene. The selected object is highlighted
using a red bounding box and in the Objects browser. The measurements/parameter
window displays relevant statistical information.
