• All views work for entire time series. User can choose optimal view and them browse through time.
Caching of views
• Complicated calculations such as a projection in Easy3D is only carried out once for each time point. The next time the same time point needs to be visualized the software refers to the previously calculated view.
• Speeds up re-display and allows for real-time browsing through time.
Change zoom/pan while time is running
• The user can change the focus and inspect special locations without having to stop the time slider. This allows convenient inspection of different locations while the image is looping back and forth through time.
Image Processing, Transformations
Baseline, gauss, median, gamma
• The user can define image processing parameters for one time point and have the software compute the same operation for others.

Image Loader
Loader for Leica, Zeiss, Deltavision native files
• Loads the native formats of microscope manufacturers. The lengthy process of re-formatting the image is unnecessary.
Intelligent swapping
• User can work with images that are larger than RAM available. Time series are often huge. This feature allows the user to process images on normal computers that may only have 512 MB of RAM .

Movie output in AVI
• Allows the user to specify the parameters for one time point and then to re-calc the same view for all time points and store the result in AVI file. Allows review of results on computers without Imaris and/or without resources.
Data exchange with image database (ImageAccess, Selima)
• Automatic storage of images into ImageAccess.
