On 2/27/98 the sun was blocked out in certain parts of the northern hemisphere in a full solar eclipse. The Caribbian experinced the full effect of the eclipse and the masses were there to observe and photogragh the event. Nocturnal animals awoke, birds went to thier nests, and the ignorant were fearful, but no casualties were reported.
